In Audio Sound Arts Studio we use only top-end state-of-the-art equipment, hand-picked from the most respected in the industry.
The whole studio is cabled only with Neutrik plugs on Mogami/Vovox cables.
We chose to work in a dual environnement, using as much analog as digital equipment to get the best out of both sides: unique sound quality and flexibility.
Our soundtracs DS-00 mixing desk (128 tracks full process DSP channels, 40 bus) is connected to very high quality analog and digital outboard equipment to get the best of both sides.
A Merging Technologies Pyramix WST recorder (unlimited tracks* with MassCore, real time editing) is used for recording and mixdowns, up to 384 kHz!
Check our equipment list and if it's not enough, we are ready to get what you miss!
We have a control room (~50m2) 2 live rooms with daylight (~35m2) and a dead room (~35m2). The rooms have daylight coming through nice windows with some view on the park and the Spree river. A quiet and warm atmosphere is good for positive work conditions. The rooms are big enough to accomodate live recording as well as overdubs.
There rooms are soundproof with reinforced walls, "bob" (box in the box) technology with a damped acoustic and flat frequency response.
Of course depending on the project we are working in other rooms as well, like the famous "Meistersaal" where a lot of top artists recorded (Kurt Tucholsky, David Bowie, Udo Lindenberg, U2, Herbert Grönemeyer, R.E.M. etc.) and which is the oldest hall that survived the second world war, but also the other incredible recording hall in the building B of our complex which is about 500m2 with top world rated unique acoustic qualities where top artists also held recording or production (Portishead, Die Ärzte, Black Eyed Peas, Murray Perahia, Hélène Grimaud, Ryan Dan, Sting, Barenboim and State Orchestra, Burkard Schliessmann...)
We will take the best out of your project!
